I doubt many people will actually hear Franken live on the web. It's 7:14 AM EST time here and the registration is having problems with the e-mail part and the site is SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW, can you imagine noon! 50/50 chance it's going to crash today when the Franken Factor starts.

Air America will probably find themselves buried alive in signup requests. Patience!

They were broadcasting a tape of Al Franken, much of which I'd heard before; so, I logged out and came back two hrs. later to find that the site is having problems....probably just too congested with traffic.

Give 'em a little time. (I just hope they've not been hacked.)

Promos and "stunting"...various songs...including Quicksilver's "Fresh Air", Beatles "Revolution", Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start The Fire"...and promos for Franken and other shows. I just checked 1580 in LA and heard the same...sure it's also playing in New York.

I don't imagine things are going to go very smoothly for them today - took me 3 tries to get the sign up page to load, 2 tries to submit the info, and now far too long to receive a confirmation #. I can only imagine what's going to happen @ noon, but it's not like it's a one day event so I can wait until the bugs are ironed out.

Site is a little slow on my cable connection.
