Air America is playing some totally awesome music!
It's fucking great! The best music and stuff I've heard on the radio in freaking years! They even were playing George Carlin's 7 words you can't say on TV.

It's a sort of montage of revolutionary 60's songs, "have another hit - of fresh air", Jefferson Airplane's "Volunteers", interspersed with clips of Bush* and comedy bits. I don't know if it's just on WLIB here in NYC or if it's all over, but it is excellent.

If they were to just play this. I would listen constantly.

Now playing The Clash! "know your rights"! I'm in radio heaven!!!!

Inexpensive ones go for about $10.

20. I guess your workplace doesn't like the internet
I don't even have it at work. But my home system is extremely adequate.

If it's a home setup, sound cards are cheap and simple to install.

The system at home is nicely tricked out. I even have blue glowie crap on it. :) My dad says it looks like a whorehouse.

7. I'm listening over the radio WLIB
But I went to the website and signed up for email and such about 20 minutes ago and still haven't gotten a password. They must be overwhelmed. Which, I guess is a good sign.

8. It takes a little while...

I fell asleep, so I can't say how long, but maybe an hour or so. By the way, I dont think the INternet broadcasts have started, not even with the music that is being reported to be on the radio now...
