not people that are getting "on the job training or experience". Not very many people can do what a good radio host can do. Many think, "i can go on and just talk, .. how hard can that be." But, it takes special talent that few have to do it. I'm looking forward to hearing Randi Rhodes again after two weeks off.

I posted the following on another thread..I am looking for answers.. will keep at it: thanks for the list but, when I tune in I find myself listening to someone named Ed Schultz, and yet when I play the Air America feed from their central website I get Randi Rhodes. No offense to Ed Schultz, whoever he is ( and I swear he has the timbre and cadence of Rush Limbaugh, to the point it sounds like Rush Limbaugh trying to do an impression of a liberal radio host).. but good lord whose idea was it to put him over Randi Rhodes? I tried emailing the station and Air America .. no reply yet...

so, she's familiar with him. but the thing he said about rice clearly turned randi off and she let the caller know. what he said was not randi's style of politics at all, from what i've heard listening to her for a long time. she's more about researching and facts. usually, randi doesn't give callers a whole lot of time. so she hangs up on them pretty quick and moves on. she has a fast paced show. hope this helps.
