....that was a lousy segment. she was going nowhere with the "let's say you did win the election, who do you caucus with?" angle. if ralph was in the white house of course the dems would vote with him. it was a stupid argument for randi to make. what she should have done is stick with "hey ralph, please don't run...you can't win and all you could do is help bush steal another election and that hurts everyone".

randi is normally great, but she should have shown more respect to nader. we need to form an alliance with nader and the greens that still follow him.

IMHO randi blew it.

...but not this loud bitch. I want to listen to a good debate...not some yelling match. This is the exact problem with RWing radio...yelling over their 'guests' and playing 'gotcha'. Just think of how much more we could have learned if they had a discussion or debate?

- Nader was right about ONE thing: there just isn't that much different between the major parties these days. Even the 'new democrats' are acting like FReepers. After November...the Dem party can kiss my ass if this is the way they're going to act.

79. I listened to a replay of the Nader/Rhodes 'interview'...

...and my opinion remains the same. Rhodes came off as trying to shout down Nader when he was making truthful, but painful points about the Democratic party. It made her look like Rush when he does the same things to guests that he disagrees with.

- It's not about liking Nader...Rhodes blew it when she wouldn't allow him to finish a sentence without yelling over his words. This is not only unprofessional...but it makes her sound like a whack job.

- I love Air America already. I'll just skip the time the LOUD 'liberal' in on the air.

I've listened to Randi for a long time. That interview wasn't exactly indicative of her style. So...if you're going to prematurely judge someone, you should give them at least two weeks - that's pretty standard for radio. Unless of course you don't have an open mind.
