2. I think they deserve Larry Flynt....
After all the Repubs have done to disallow a legitimate election, it would be justice to end up with Larry Flynt. Who would they blame?

3. I'm conflicted
because I want to ensure a Democratic victory. I lean towards Arianna since she articulates my viewpont but I'm more interested in preventing this fascist takeover. I will vote for Bustamante if necessary.

The best thing would be for Davis to resign, hand the reigns to Bustamante and render this crap moot. You can't recall a Governor who's resigned.

Once the date was set for the recall election, it goes forward regardless. The winner (if the recall receives more than 50%) is whoever has the most votes afterwards. So even if Davis resigned today (or the day before the election) it would not guarantee Bustamante the job.

It's stupid, utterly, but it's the rules.

6. If I Lived in California,

I would have to vote "No" and Bustamente (as having the most legitimacy of the replacements).

I think that will be the most popular option among democrats, but who knows what everyone will do? I have a suspicion Arnold might be the new governor.

10. Well, the devil in me has a wicked
hope that Larry Flynt gets the most votes, or maybe Angelyne, over the terminator, Ahnold. The right-wing creeps would deserve it and, who knows, maybe Larry might turn out okay? He's not stupid and he is on the left side.:evilgrin:

In truth though I will vote "no" and write in Cruz Bustamante if he isn't on the ballot.
