Did anyone hear me mention Hatfield on Randi Rhodes show?

I could not hear it.

and will the show be archived?

Whatta thrill to get on the first day!

All I know is she said to me - "all I know is he's (Hatfield's) dead"

anybody hear that or was it off air?

well, except maybe the military. I did not assume that DUers would support the military sponsorship.

Maybe I stated it poorly. I had noticed the sponsors and the fact that the army was advertising for recruits. That was NOT something I support right now when we are in an illegal war.

I support our people in uniform. I want them OUT OF IRAQ

This is the first time in ages that I feel hope for our nation and our people.

Folks, call in with good info and insight and help Air America keep the passion building. We are tired of being smacked around by a very loud and obnoxious minority and this is an answer to the pain of being a silent majority. Show the media that Right Wing is All Wrong

The way I perceived what happened, was that Randi did not want to talk about Hatfield, and she cut you off.

You sounded great, though! And I agree w/you about the Army.

But I will not listen to a female Rush again. I am embarrassed that the Air America debut came off sounding like what we (liberals) do not like, i.e. talking over people, cutting people off, throwing a temper tantrum...

I think what happened was that they had Nader standing by to talk and they needed to do comercials. I have done radio journalism/hosting/DJing off and on for thirty years - so I got it.

She DID tell me to phone in tomorrow.

I may well do that.

You said something about how DU-ers would be supporting Air America's sponsors, except maybe the military ones. Randi disagreed--though she'd joined the Air Force mainly because she had no college, job or marriage prospects, she'd enjoyed her time there.

and he deserves a shot at this project

But the main thing was to get DU in the airwaves and get people to come here and learn more

I had three "talking points" if I got on:

1. DU

2. The HatfielD ARTICLE pre-9-11 in the online journal saying Osama with neonazis was going to fly jets into american targets

3, the Bush family ties to Hitler.

I got 1 and part of 2

23. Thanks - I had mentioned my subjects in the "screening" to go on the air

and that was among them.

Then I was cut off on the phone the first attempt.

I imagine they discuss what the callers want to discuss and pick callers from that - but I think she interviewed John Buchanan on the subject once.

I know a LOT about that subject.

But when I called back they put me right through to her.
