He's so relaxed. Can't wait to see more of it.

Ad was called a "substantial buy".

He's on his way!

1. Now, why can't he be more like Dean, LOL?
Meaning, why can't he put it on his web site!

But you know, I'm kind of pleased today with the site (UGH that site, LOL). Last month I sent in an email asking them to make some changes--dunno if you remember, Cronus was asking why it didn't even say whether Edwards was pro-choice, etc.--and today I checked the page and there's a new section on women! Awesome!

So even though the campaign didn't call me up and thank me, LOL, I'm glad the changes were made. Nowww.....if we can get that dang site to fix his *civil rights* area. Oh that's right, he doesn't have one. Ugh.

2. Will Edwards support the international minimum wage?
A very important issue in our "age of globalization" - South Carolina lost tens of thousands of textile jobs to NAFTA - will Edwards help us get an international minimum wage to level the playing field?

3. If you say he's from South Carolina one more time, LOL!

It's easy to get mixed up though--he was born in SC.
:-)

I can't help you with your question. I know he's for raising this country's minimum wage--don't know about the rest of the world.

Plus, there are also other issues with other countries, i.e. taxes etc. I can see why an international minimum wage would be helpful, though.

Yes I know, he's NC - it's just I have lots of relatives from SC that think of him as a home town guy.

If Edwards won't give us straight answers on this - not just an international minimum wage, but what he plans to do about outsourcing and corporatization - I can't vote for him.

Too bad, because as a politican, I like him - working class roots, smart, a Democrat :)

I do think the trial lawyer thing will hurt *a lot*

On edit: VERY glad he's for raising this countries minimum wage

5. I answered your question in the other thread
He probably doesn't have a position on it yet because Gephardt just proposed it a little while ago.

6. He is VERY strong on corporate accountability.
Please check out his website. He has some specific proposals for creating jobs, and shifting the tax burden.

7. The trial lawyer thing doesn't hurt a bit
Would you rather have Gerry Spence or Ken Lay as President?

The people who're going to be turned off by lawyers are people who have money and don't like people trying to take it away from them. They vote Republican.

The trial lawyers are a recourse for the downtrodden and a mechanism for seeking justice. Sure, ambulance chasers get a lot of heat, but this is something I trace back to the endless chorusing of the conservative media: if you say "liberalbad, liberalbad, liberalbad", you'll get lots of people embarrassed to say they're liberals because they think that "everyone" hates them. If you keep hearing "lawyersbad lawyersbad", you might think that other people think that, but that doesn't mean that you do or they do or anything of the sort. Think about it.

People who are for tort reform will not vote for a Democrat. People who hear details about some of his cases will like him for them.

The right has succeeded in getting us to hate ourselves; that too can change.

God bless you.... The courts are the only place where an individual and a big corporation can meet on an equal playing field. That's why Pukes hate them. They lose their advantage and have to be judged by the people.

If you don't like lawyers next time you are the victim of a defective product or a negligent doctor call a Republican.

9. This is a winner for Edwards. He said to *, "bring it on!"
He's got the perfect response to attempted smears about this being a trial lawyer. He's been fighting for the little guy against powerful corporations.
Sheeeeet.
