Apparently, Cheney Really IS The Man Behind The Curtain !!!
I'm at work listening to our local 'talk-news' radio station, KFBK. You know the one where Rush Limpballs honed his 'craft'?

Anywho, Cheney was visiting my home town today at a $1,000 a plate fundraiser, and gave his same old static 'everything is going great' speech.

But the guy on KFBK sounded a little annoyed, and seemed to imply that the audience was a bit perturbed as well, because as soon as Cheney finished his 15 minute boiler-plate speech, he abruptly turned around and disappeared behind the stage curtain. Not to be seen again.

Not to answer questions from the crowd, not to answer questions from reporters, and not even to shake a few hands with his fellow travelers both on stage, and in the crowd who had just forked over $1,000!!!

I'm wonderin if any of his rightwing idiot fans are feelin a bit.... I don't know... RIPPED OFF???

Lol, join the club ASSHOLES!!!

Link to Sacramento Bee coverage, with audio from the speech, for those with stronger constitutions than Unca Dicks:

7. Cheney may be behind the curtain
But his orders come from Headquarters, and we all know who runs the Carlyle Group, 'eh?

All Cheney has is an open PO from Poopy and James Baker III.

8. It pisses me off
that areas of downtown Sacramento had to be closed off for this event. This was a fundraiser for the fucknut, not something in his official VP capacity. I suppose they all do it, but it still pisses me off!

9. Get your City Council to do what mine did
Madison's City Council (and the Mayor) told Cheney that he'd have to pay for his own security if he wanted to speak at the Chamber of Commerce here.

He cancelled, and hasn't tried to come back.

If you try to make these Republicans pay the bill they incur, they often scuttle way like roaches.

11. $1000 for Republicans
to be with the "Vice" President is really cheap. These guys will pay $25,000 easy for an event with a photograph showing a handshake.

13. He obviously had "other priorities".
I wonder how the audience would feel if they knew about his "other priorities" excuse during the Viet Nam war, or the gestation period for his child relative to selective service rule changes?
