Poll question: How should various supporters of candidates treat each other?
Supporters of OUR Candidates that is. Spit as much vitriol at the chimp and his winged minions as you wish, they deserve it, but...

I learned how to attack George Bush from the best of em! I just watched DUers attack other Dem candidates and got a GREAT read on how to slam the other guy :eyes:

2. A little respect, please
I've been saying that since all the candidate flame wars started. It is almost impossible to have a reasonable debate about candidates around here.

3. do you even have to think about this ?
its all just opinion anyway. Chill out and debate the issues, not the people. So far as I've heard, excepting two, the candidates have not done anything to draw fire upon themselves personally.

...Is this thread not sufficiently sarcastic enough to show my dismay with the people that would attack a candidate over something as childish as height? I think we're saying the same thing. Like I said to another poster, I'm multi-tasking now so perhaps I've mis-understood your direction?

19. I agree with you on that...
I think looks, personal life, and family are off limits. I think any candidate's own public words and political or legislative actions are fair to dissect and are in no way smears.

6. the same way soldiers in different outfits treat each other
the same way soldiers in different outfits treat each other - as comrades in arms. None of your choices seemed valid so I didn't vote. "WITH SOME RESPECT YOU @#$#&*!@ %&#@*&!!!!" is not exactly my idea of respectful.

7. Right now I have my opinion...
but whoever the Democratic candidate is, I'll support. If Richard Nixon came back to life and were the Democratic candidate, I'd support him. THAT'S how bad I feel the current administration is!

10. That's not a "push-poll" or anything, JanMichael?
You forgot to put the option: "Stake them out buck nekkid next to a desert anthill at high noon covered in honey!" Had you included that option, I would have voted for it. Instead I voted for that dumbass "respect" option. (there's a reason I am staying out of this primary, and just waiting for the outcome)

...that I didn't think of this option: "Stake them out buck nekkid next to a desert anthill at high noon covered in honey!" Very nice, very, very, nice.

I would have said respect, but the way I see it, if you get your keg stolen you didn't deserve it in the first place.
