MUST SEE: Ambassador Joe Wilson at the National Press Club

If you watch nothing else, advance to 19:38 and watch thru to 28:00.

... Wilson talks about the set up of Iraq II in 1991, the "marketing plan" on September 12th, and the smear of his wife -- calling it a breach of National Security comparable with Aldrich Ames' revealing the identities of CIA operatives to the Soviet Union.

2. The entire broadcast was so refreshing

It was like watching a real news conference where real questions were asked and real answers were given. Very little political doublespeak.

4. The Bush Admin were stupid to go after him and his wife

because now he's going to take it them like nobody's business.

And as icky as some of the CIA's history has been, I have a feeling that when '04 comes around, they're gonna be good and tired of being shoved around by Bush, and there'll be some nasty consequences for the GOP...

8. What Wilson made clear

in his intelligent and calm speaking manner, was that the smear (against his wife and Dr. Kelly) was an attempt to intimidate anyone else from speaking out. It will be difficult for anyone paying attention not to understand what the administration is doing and why they are dangerous.

I've only listened to that segment. Will listen to the rest later.
