Feinstein NOT RUNNING
Accorind to a statement attributed to her and on AP Newswire this AM She thinks the recall is miguided and sill not run.

In my opinion: THis will cause a backlash among the leadership.. There are many who do not believe Davis can win if Riirdan is on the ballot's second question.

Unfortunately this may mean that Maxine Waters or Lorretta Sanchez my jump in. So the second backlash will be looking for someone else.

Run Leon Run. Right through Sacramento and on to the Naval Observatory in anothe year and a half.

1. I'd vote for Larry Flynt
if I lived in California. The reason: he wants to tax the gamblers. I agree with him. Gambling should be taxed. If cigarettes are taxed, so should gambling.

Flyynt want to put slots and Video Lottery into the state....Problem is he has financial interest in the gaming industry.

He does not see the conflict....what a waste of a vote

2. Arianna Huffington will get in
I don't know if she has a chance--I like her a lot. She said she wouldn't enter the race if Fienstien was in it.

4. Dems need to stick together on this !
Once again the repugs are trying to steal an election .Now Gov. Davis made some bad decisions and even many Dems are not happy with him ! However the fact remains he won the election and now the repugs are trying to take it away. At a time when every penny of the states money is needed, here we go again letting the repugs waste resources for their own selfish reasons .This has everything to do with the 2004 election ,and nothing to do with making the Ca. situation better ! Once again ,where is the outrage from the spineless elected Dems , they should all be supporting Davis ,whom just won re-election !

5. That will clear up once the filing period is done
This Saturday.

My guess is that the hesitation is due largely to see if anyone viable on the Dem Side would break and go for it. The united front is weak and quite tenuous.

No one really wants Gray Davis to stay because he is so wounded. Unfortunately no one wants to admit that the Governor has no clothes....either.

They will rally once the filing period closes.

6. Waters? You've got to be kidding
There is no way that California is going to elect the Black Woman from Watts to office.
