Deaths from "pneumonia" in Iraq spread

Not mentioned in the media reports here ( gee, I wonder why?) is that the German doctors treating one of the fatalities stated his sickness was caused by exposure to a chemical, resulting in cardiopulmonary failure.

Could this be a more virulent form of Gulf War Syndrome?

I've heard of this happening, but have seen nothing from any media source.

Have ANY of the Iraqi civilians been diagnosed with this malady?
Does anyone know?
If not, then we seriously need to address the VACCINES that
were given to these soldiers.
Anybody with me on that issue?

I read somewhere that in Gulf War 1 French soldiers didn't recieve the vaccines and none of them came down with the syndrome... anyone else hear that!

It will be gone by sundown I imagine but it was on NPR this afternoon for about ten seconds.

From France, the analysis of gulf war syndrom includes other theories which
don't seem to be enough investigated. Today with Kosovo war, we ask ourselves
if a Kosovo war syndrom is possible. Do you know if local civilians near
Koweit and Irak have got similar gulf war syndroms? It doesn't seem to
happen. So the immunization program is may be one of the causes of this
syndrom. Let's think to this way for a solution: Government says that for
other wars the "same" immunization program was used but are you sure that the
specific same vaccines process were used?
If these vaccines were new forms, are you sure that this immunization could
not alter immune response of the soldiers in Iraq? The both aspects with
local bacterias which were not tolerated by these "new immunized" american
soldiers could, may be, affect their immune response and explain their
consecutive illnesses, contamination, contagious observations (explaining
Nicholson's theory). If this is demonstrated, the immunization programme has
to change to protect soldiers in Kosovo war. Without finding the answer, same
causes may produce same effects. Excuse me for my bad english, but as a Nato
civilian, soldiers of our countries are going there in Kosovo either for
humanitarian either for something else, I've friends who ask themselves if
there is not a danger with the immunisation programme for soldiers. Thank you
for giving me your idea about that.

From what I understand, Depleted Uranium, used as a hardener on missiles and bombs, turns to dust after impact. Several hundred + Tons were blown up in Iraq.

Any US soldier inspecting a recently destroyed Iraqi Tank and breathing in the dust from a DUMB (Depleted Uranium Missile or Bomb) is liable to get a severe infection.

Right?
