Yesterday, I heard their chairman on WNYC. Dick Zimmer, rormer rep from NJ comes from a Dem family - tirned GOP in the 60's at yale and is not all that bright or informed (ex: thought MY has a dem governor). The most startling spin was: the Resident didn't take yet a position on the gau marriage, his guess is that he'll finally come with a moderate position, against gay marriage but for civil unions. The rest was more of what you already know, with one refreshing point: "if the economy doesn't improve they are in trouble"
The babble on the civil unions show that they are as much disconnected from GOP as DLC is from us.
