1. Great speech.
Everytime he opens his mouth, he gains converts. Everytime Bush opens his, he's loses more of his base.

2. Saw the speech today and I liked what he conveyed
I was impressed by how accurately he had his finger on the pulse of reason with regards to the Iraq situation. He articulated his position, and well, I have to say that I feel he has far more credibility as a leader in war time because he's served in the military, as compared to Bush, who yellow-bellied his way out of his duty.

I was rather lukewarm on this upcoming election before watching this speech today, but now, I feel more comfortable with Kerry.

3. Good to hear.
I've seen Kerry on my radar screen for more than 30 years. I can understand how more than a few who were unfamiliar with Kerry would find him too senatorial, stiff, boring, etc. on initial evaluation...especially compared to some of the candidates (Dean, in particular). But Kerry is going to surprise people who think he'll be Bush-lite. He will take the fight to the Republicans and he will make his case to the American people.

4. Most people still don't know it was Kerry who investigated IranContra
and exposed Ollie North, et al. Also BCCI and CIA drugrunning, as well as Bush's illegal wars in Central America.

Kerry was the biggest thorn in Congress to Reagan and Bush1.

6. Entertainer
I have never understood why people expect a Pres to be an entertainer. The Pres.'s job is to be a Mgr. and spokesperson.
