Other state budget deficits

As I watch California blame Gray Davis for all of their finacial troubles, how many other states are facing the same budget deficits? In the great state of Nevada, we have just finished up with two special sessions in which our taxes were increased. If states were like the federal government, we wouldn't need to balance the budget. We could just spend, borrow, spend, borrow. When services have to increase, who is required to pay for it?

How many other states are experiencing this financial crunch?

It was a harrowing process, from what I've read, and there have been a couple of calls for special sessions.

city, county, state or fed claims that they need more money.
In fact, I think taxes should be reduced to a low level.

And New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are fighting tremendous debt problems, hanging on to the precipice to avoid out and out bankruptcy.

Gray Davis is not the problem. BUSH IS.

They probably are states with Republican majorities anyway.
