Now I say its all over because Olberman did a long tap dance all over Bush's face tonight. It seemed like every story was a blistering attack on Bush. I'm getting a signal from this string of bad news that it's finally over.
- The Mission Complete story is simply devistating.
- The Torture story is the clincher. Huge - around the world. THe war is over. The image of the hooded guy with the wires is the icon. I think these photos will serve in history as the symbol of what we did to these people. And also as a symbol of what the war planners did to our country as well. They have debased America along with the Iraqis.
- The Sinclair story looks really bad for the right. Really this is the battle for the control of the message. Koppel is bringing light to the intentions of the Media oweners. CBS has led the way in breaking the stronghold.
- They covered Kerry in a positive light. Good clip of him speaking well, vs. Cheney sucking. They finally weren't pulling an Al Gore on him.
- The Google IPO is timed well because that story had a suggestion of "remember the good old days"?
I got the distinct feeling that the show was coronating Kerry. It was like the one year buzzer has gone off for Bush's disaster and it's time to dump this turkey of a war.
And it seems the entire media has turned against Bush. On CNN the way the anchor read this said alot. She was talking about Bush's response and the reported they they could get Courtmartialed, discharged and even a repremand. It was so sarcastic. Another guy said did a story on appropriation costs and coined "Mission Accomplished has turned into Mission Expensive".
