We lost the war. The pictures confirm it.
This war is lost. Yes, we may have captured Saddam, and in time a "stable" puppet government of some sort may emerge, but the larger neoconservative dream is over.

We lost the war. The pics confirm the worst fears of Arabs. The Americans want to come in and humilate them. They said that when Saddam was captured, and hell, people in the Arab world didn't even like him.

This is a whole new story. The "hearts and minds" are lost. It's over. The neoconservative and idiot "liberal"'s dreams are over. By idiot liberals, I'm speaking of Hitchens, Berman, Tom Friedman crowd. This war will NOT spread democracy in the Arab world like wildfire.

This actually makes progress LESS likely. As the countries are more inflamed, fundamentalism, nationalism, and ultimately authoritarianism, will be MORE tolerated in most of those countries. Iraq itself seems less and less likely to have a populace and government friendly to the US.

Time to get the hell out of there. The soldiers are commiting unspeakable crimes and the security situation for the ordinary Iraqi is hell.

God, what a mess these ass holes in office have created. God save us all, and I

2. WRONG.
This war will NOT spread democracy in the Arab world like wildfire.

What makes you think the neocons were EVER dreaming about democracy?

They don't even like democracy HERE...why the hell would they like it THERE?

4. Well...
BushCo might go there one day when the golf courses and country clubs are up and running...he can be served a gin and tonic by a free'd Iraqi...

BushCo is a failure...so is his war...it's time to hand it over to better qualified people and bring our troops home...

3. This whole thing confuses me.
I doubt Bush had anything to do with this. But I think he doesn't care. If things get nasty in Iraq we the sheeple fear new leadership. See Israel. So The shitstorm could be good for Bush. Just thinking.

NOW with BILL MOYERS is on. So, my attention shifts.
