Come, let us celebrate the First Anniversary of MISSION ACCOMPLISHED DAY!
Let us praise our Fearless Leader* who selflessly and bravely rescued us from the invading horde of Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Let us praise Patriot Karl Rove, who arranged for our Fearless Leader Fighter Pilot* to safely and expertly guide the jet fighter to the deck of the carrier for a perfect landing, instructed the captain of the carrier to turn his ship just so, so that the skyline of San Diego would not be visible to the cameras and the golden light would fall flatteringly on the face of our Fearless Leader*, and arranged for the now famous "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner to be prominently displayed in the background. Perfectly Perfect Perfection.
Let us also give thanks for an administration* that is Perfectly Perfect and NEVER makes a single mistake. You could ask Condoleeza Rice. You could ask Karen Huge. If you have the temerity to do so, you could even ask our Fearless Leader Himself. Mistakes? Nope. Can't think of a single one. Perfectly Perfect Perfection.
In honor of this great day, let us go to page 1 of DU and silently, or aloud, read the names of those who missed the memo that the Mission was Accomplished. :-(
