I guess in her mind it's Ok to do this stuff as long as you don't get caught.

If her response is typical, this country is in deeper s**t than I thought.

That's a loose woman who entered our military to prove something twisted. She has a problem with men.

We are the USA. We have nothing to hide. We get rid of our garbage and correct our mistakes (like feminism/homo-activism, for example). The best PR would be to admit the obvious--that we've fallen from trying to be a moral country, and we're in the process of getting decent again. If we continue to try to delude others (which is not possible) and to delude ourselves (which vanity leads to self-destruction), the worst will eventually happen. Let's get right with God and go on to have the great country we once had.

this is the reason you should never keep prisoners for more than 24 hrs...do what you need to do to extract necessary info,,,then do the 3 "s" dance..shoot, shovel, shutup.

reverse situation: just how close to the geneva convention would the ragheads adhere in dealing with our POW's??

our guys don't really need to torture them that much..just hang 'em up, bring a great big hawg in..extract a syringe of blood from it, cut the prisoner's genitals off and inject him with the syringe of pig's blood and then "send him to allah". the rest would be singing like canaries.

no!!! that's not cruel..it is expedient. after they tell you what they know or what they think you want to know..do them the same way...pretty soon someone is going to be telling the truth.

she is a home health aide who has cared for my mother with great compassion for the last 5 years. We have become friends and Will and I work on her constantly to change her mind. Maybe we will suceed, but we have a long way to go.

I just heard Chuck Mertz on WNUR in Chicago explain why his show is called, This is Hell. He said that it's because outrage after outrage occurs in this country, and nobody cares. That is his definition of hell.

I was almost sickened by what I saw there. Posts by people saying that Iraqis are animals. Criticisms of the liberal media. Some people were genuinely disgusted by this though, but there were too many of the jockular "they deserved it" posts.

that when one side tortures POW's, the other side will probably follow suit. So what will be their reaction if photos of our troops held prisoner show up with them all looking like members of the Jim Rose Circus after a few long torture sessions.

the brains of repugs vs dems? Dem's sensitivity and emotions kicked in when viewing such as torture pics whereas pugs showed no reaction. Didn't think too much of this at first but now it really makes me wonder. Like the parents of one of the torturers this morning on Today. Wanted to ask if they were pugs cause their son need orders/rules to know how to treat these "prisoners".

that a soldier serving in the same unit gave those pictures to the press because he/she knew that it was criminal behavior that deserved to be exposed and punished.
