Just Listened to Gephardt on AA
Edited on Sat May-01-04 11:38 AM by goclark

Please lead me to a link if this has already been discussed.

He seems like such a nice man. He is really honest.
Help me, the media will say,"Gephardt said that he liked Ronald Reagan."

IMO, when you hear the whole interview with Al Franken, you'll understand that he means that compared to Bush, Reagan was for sure better to work with.

But to Rethugs they will be blasting away that he thinks Reagan was a good President.

Dick Gephardt did not do well in the interview IMO.
He does not seem to be in touch with the new world of media and visuals IMO

2. Gephardt is a good
person, and even if he wasn't our choice for the nomination, or my choice for VP, I think the vast majority of Democrats admire him. I would love to see him as Secretary of Labor! His positions on labor over the years have been beyond reproach. They almost make up for his war stance. And, I didn't hear the interview you're referring to, but he impressed me in the Democratic debates. He is, after all, the one who coined the term "Miserable Failure." He really went after * in the debates. Seriously, I think he was more aggressive against * than almost any of the others. He COULD fulfill the role of VP attack dog very, very well.

4. Al Franken.
Al and radio is a huge mistake. Al is such an egomaniac and it just sucks. What a butinski. He even steps on the guests. He will sink AAR.

As for Gephardt,I would rather not. I like Wesley Clark. He knows how to win.
