Perhaps Impeaching GWB isnt the right tactic

Considering his inability to communicate thought - when he manages to have coherent ones - his demonstrated divorcement from reality where he has made demontrably false statements in public, it is time to consider invocation of the Twenrty-Fifth Amendment's provisions for removing a (mentally) incapacitated President.

Of course, with a Republican House and Senate and Cheney in control of the process, it has about as much chance as Impeachment, but perhaps it deserves to be discussed.

1. the more the big Rethugs defend him, the more they'll go down with him
when the public finally overthrows the Republican mess that has enslared our goverment for a decade now.

if they don't force Bush to pull an LBJ, i'm now thinking that we will be able to win control of the country finally and get the things done that are so desperately needed.

maybe the future is bright (if Bush doesn't go crazy and nuke someone)

2. In a perfect world...
..impeachment proceeds would be brought against boosh, only to have the rabid house rethuglicans block the proceedings at every turn. Then when the new administration takes over in 2005, investigate and indict boosh... and when he's convicted, bring charges against every rethug politician who blocked the impeachment proceeding for obstruction... result? ..no mass presidential pardons, and a whole new political landscape... with every one of those arrogant MoFo's in the big house, bunking with Tyrone...

But then again, I also want to drop off Osama Bin Laden outside a NYC fire station and watch what happens.

* will tell the truth before that happens.

5. Look at the lines of succession...
...I wouldn't impeach until after we win the House back. Otherwise, it'll just be more of the same.
