Demos dragged out some low-ranking war vet? Fox News
After the chimp, Fox was doing the news and I heard the reporter say this about this morning's response. Did anyone else hear that? His tone was such that this guy was some lowly piece of garbage.

the gentleman in question was a first responder at the WTC on 9/11 and helped with the cleanup then was called up in his national guard unit and spent a year in iraq.

I was walking away from the TV and heard the statement. It was in a degrading tone though towards the young man. It was if he was just some low-ranking, inconsequential, nobody, and that was the best we could do.

There are tens of thousands just like him who are fed up with all the Bush-shit. If the Pukes are stupid enough to smear veterans then they will feel the sting in November.

In fact, I think that is why they went after Kerry's Vietnam service records last week. It was a Hail Mary pass to try to keep the military vote, which is beginning to turn on the BFEE. The polls must have Rove sweating.

8. actually Army National Guard 1st Lt. Paul Rieckhoff
was interviewed on Faux News today... He held his own against Gregg 'Maxwell Smart' Jarrett. Then Geraldo followed up saying Rieckhoff would in the future regret his move into politics. Rieckhoff sounds like someone who wants to get the message out and I think he'll be getting plenty of airtime.

11. My repuke friends call me a traitor because I do not support chimp
and his stupid war. Every damn one of them that are my age (57) either dodged the draft or served in the National Guard. I had two years of my life taken away to serve this country, and these cowards have the nerve to call me a traitor. It's starting to get personal, and I'm letting them have it with both barrels about their own lack of service and that of the Dick/Bush Oil Cartel.

You're the one who served, they didn't and yet you get called a traitor? Do they have a special set of brass 'nads just for repugs, or are they totally off their rockers? It's as if Bush has some spell over these people. They say it doesn't matter that I served (or Kerry or anyone) in the past, it's your actions today that count. BTW, none of these people have any children in the military.

All this started after 9-11.

wealthy people who are smug shrub and shrub war supporters (although there is starting to be some fear and recognition that he MIGHT NOT actually keep his office!).

They are all happy to fly flags from the antennae of their Lincoln Navigator, but not one served in the military or would dream of sending their kids into it, especially into this war.

of those who gave their lives in battle.... Yeah, and then they tell us we are unpatriotic and don;t support American troops!?!?!

Their eyes get all glassy and pants get wet when they interview freelance "security specialists" who brag about knowing 857 ways to kill a guy with their bare hands. Hannity gets practically orgasmic when he advocates torture, he wants it at gitmo, and in Iraq, he just drools for torture. Probably wants more pics. Hey Sean, Who Would Jesus Torture?

He's filling the KERRY-after-Vietnam shoes, albeit less "radical". Afterwards, Whorealdo said that the dude was probably "going into politics, and might regret it." JARRETT was in agony, wanting to attack him but biting his tongue, then ended with, "We. thank. ALL. vets. for their service." He was just about saying, "I'm making an exception for you."
