3. The UN needs to step in and interview EVERY prisoner in the.....
place, without the guards being there to scare the "Right Answers" out of the prisoners! If the "Beacon of Freedom"(U.S.)fails to uphold the rule of international law that protects POWs, how can our soldiers EVER hope for protection when the shoe is on the other foot? In most cases even the Nazis treated American POWs better than these people are being treated! The American service men and women should be fuming about this!

12. I'd say this public exposure of those photos will change that!

I wonder if Lee Greenwood is still, "Proud To Be An American"? I know I'm not! And congress shouldn't be either, until this situation is fully and openly rectified to everyone's satisfaction! If anything Ever warranted a SPECIAL PUBLIC CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION, this does! How can the US ever scold countries like Red China or North Korea about human rights violations EVER AGAIN, until the guilty are punished harshly, for these crimes against humanity!

4. I say turn the "guards" over to them...
let them taste torture. I know it is mean, but a clear message needs to be sent, particularly in light of some of these freaks in this country defending the torture.

10. Where is she?
I've missed Mari333 the last couple of days; can somebody please tell me if she's ok? I was out of town on Wednesday and Thursday, with no access to a computer. I know before I left she seemed in pretty bad shape.

well, as fine as can be. (that includes Michael, though he remains stationed there.) obviously, they're under terrible stress with the deteriorating situation.

some DUers are trying to organize a way to help out with $. i'd keep an eye out for that thread...

that she (they) need $$ coming from? I haven't seen the posts where she was in bad shape, and haven't been able to find out why a $$ collection is being called for? Please clarify?

18. I don't think Mari333 needs $$$
I think she just wanted help for the situation with her son which is so hard on them and that there was a misunderstanding about what kind of help. The project we're working on will be more focused on the soldiers and getting goods to them. I think I should go clarify that in that thread because I haven't seen anything from Mari asking for financial need either.

24. Ok . Thanks
I AM quite capable of *missing* things. But, I have now found some of the last posts where she mentions M is sick. That would cause a rough time, knowing your child is sick on the other side of the planet, besides being in this BS *war*.

25. M is in my prayers every night
I cannot imagine the agony of mothers during this horrible time. My heart breaks for Iraqi parents & also for anti-war parents who have children fighting this obscene war.

Tons of decent American kids over there scared witless out of their minds, not knowing if this day will be their last... May God being them home, safe and as sound as possible.

The blood-thirsty sickos, however, who delight in killing & raping & humiliating "sand niggers" simply because they have a US issued-weapon, they can stay over there and fall into the hands of the Iraqis. Fast karma- no questions asked & I won't shed a tear.

23. Well, where are all the supremists who glory in our power and
superiority.

Any supremacy over any other country in the world has been because of the melting pot of hard workers with good work ethics over the decades with and without whips, plus a gift from God in the form of a technological drive that came out of four centuries of immigrants, slaves, and natives and some far sighted men who wrote a plan and a list after thoughtful deliberations. The little people made this country great and now some maverick leaders without ethics are ruining our reputation with their imperialism and unilateralism and their gross disregard for other people on the planet.

These prison guard terrorists evidently thought they had a green light to do what they are alleged of doing. This is a BUSH-PNAC-Military act because of the inside connection of the contractors and their partnership with the Military and Bush-PNAC.

The blame goes straight UP THE LINE - it can't stop until someone gets to the end of the line.

Will there be a Kennedy or Truman at the end of the line or will there be a giant attempt at a cover-up and wimpy blame gaming with pompous Generals and a Secretary of Imperialism getting off a sneer to their critics?
