HaHaHa-upset fundie from KY on Cspan!
Edited on Sun May-02-04 07:24 AM by annagull
I called Cspan and for once I got through.. I said that I had read the Sy Hersh report in the New Yorker, which was page one on Cspan. I said that since military intelligence and private contractors AKA Mercinaries were in charge of the prison the problem must be systemic. I then said "We could very well lose this war."
So right after a fundie from KY was so mad at me, she was sputtering and made no sense at all--the best point she made was to use my word "systemic" since it was new to her vocabulary. :-)

3. That woman need Risperdal!
She was completely unglued - WHY because the media DARED to report the TRUTH! God, I wish these people could hear themselves. I studied in the Soviet Union in 1986. These people are wanting a Soviet-styled government. Wonder if ANY of these people have ever read the US Constitution, or if they think it is a document only for "America Haters!"

5. I'm tired of "Contractors"...They're Mercenaries...Terrorists!
Now those terrorists (and what the hell IS a terrorist???...what color uniform do they wear? Who signs their paychecks?) who flew the planes into the WTC were paid for bin Laden and other high ranking Saudis??? Now weren't they contractors?

I'm hoping someone really blows the lid off the "outsourcing" that is going on in Iraq that is costing us billions in scammed tax money and is one of the greatest thorns in the Iraqis side. Those who tote guns and work for KBR aren't American military...they don't represent us...our security or values, they represent a corporation only interested in making money and preventing others from doing so. From what I hear, we have several thousands of these mercenaries (not even counting the "missionaries") that have invaded this country strictly to exploit the spoils. And what are we getting out of this?

Those four "contractors" who were killed and started this insurection weren't just innocent bystanders. These guys had military backgrounds and knew the dangers of the land they were in. Now we're hearing of contractors running jails and even operating their own "security details" (why not call them militias). This is a madness that we will hear about someday.

8. I wonder how the right wing would react...
if people started referring to the 9/11 hijackers as "civilian contractors"...

10. What Is A Terrorist?
I'm so tired of that term being thrown about as the new strawman...to scare us into "our place". Better behave or the terrorists will get you! Boo! It's now a blanket term that covers anyone from Colombian drug dealers to Iranian clerics. I guess if it's brown-skinned and has an accent, that's the qualifier. A mustache doubles your profile.

12. So Are Dope Smokers & the French
It's a one-size fits all term...sounds more contemporary than "Commie". Sure fills those collection plates every Sunday.

Cheers!

a lesson. Let's pull our troops out and Glass Them, turn the whole country into glass" Now that was some real "Compassionate Conservatism" for you. It would seem the Republicans have no real concern for human value only the Republican Party. Kind of like the National Socialist Party of 1936 Germany.
