France admits anti-Semitism on the rise after graves desecrated
The French Interior Ministry yesterday released a report showing a 60 percent rise in anti-Semitic incidents during the first third of 2004, compared to the latter third of 2003.

The announcement comes after 127 graves were found desecrated at a Jewish cemetery in an eastern French town, and two days following the conclusion of a major conference in Berlin on combating anti-Semitism.

The French Interior Ministry said that 67 acts of violence against Jews were recorded in the first trimester of 2004, up from 42 in the last three months of 2003.

Police sources said that the discovery of the desecrated graves was made by a municipal worker in the village of Herrlisheim, 20 km. west of the German border. At the entrance to the cemetery, the police said that a German flag was found with graffiti stating "Juden Raus" (Jews out) and lauding Adolph Hitler.

Swastikas and SS initials were daubed in red paint on many of the grave stones.

2. Someone stopping you from mentioning it?
Got links?
Actually, it's been going on for more than one generation. You might also want to include some stories about Muslims who are working to replace civil law in Europe with Sharia law. Some Muslims are treated very badly, and a few are really a threat.

with Biblical law.

And a mosque was shot at in my metropolitan area just last week.

3. There's going to be more turmoil in coming years.
If we think we have problems with social security approaching the point when the payments in won't cover the payments out, many of the European countries have bigger problems with financing their social programs. The declining birthrate in some countries means long term population drops which means less new workers in the foreseeable future to support everything which means higher taxes on the workers.

There was a recent article about a couple that emigrated from the US to France years ago. In fact their kids were born there and are more European than American. For their safety, they're going to return to this country. The antisemitism is far worse than reported.
