Atention Democrats

Keep posting your latest breaking news, I do hope you aren't offended at me for cuting and pasting some of your articles, I am getting on in age and it is hard for me to find some of the information you younger people post here, in the last week I picked up a couple of post on the draft and transported it to another political board, I re posted the articles about every 6 to 8 hours as this particular board moves fast and the article is gone from site. Well it seems after a week or more CNN decided to tell the story almost in and apologetic way that women will be subject to having register between the age of 25 to 35 and keep the government advised at any change in their skills. I emaile CNN this morning told them to get with it and give the news as it should be given, not a week or more behind the time it was released.

It is really easy for this old woman to come here and cut and past articles to other sites, I don't use your names, only your news, are you offended that I do that if so please let me know.

Give me instructions. How do I cut and paste? Can I do it from INTERNET site? Any help from anyone will be appreciated.

I keep 2 windows open simultaneously: DU and my yahoo homepage. (To open a second window, I right click on a web link in my personal toolbar, like Google, and just leave the second window open as I surf.)

From my yahoo homepage, I surf for news stories:

When I find something that I want to post on DU, I copy the URL (the web address in the narrow window at the top of your page);
I minimize the page and maximize the DU page;
I paste the URL into the DU post and type "more..." above the web address;
I go back to the story and copy the title, author info, and the story;
I paste into DU;
I edit the story to 3 paragraphs (copyright laws) and add the word "snip" where I've deleted story text;
I copy and paste the story title into the DU headline box;
I add any personal commentary;
I check the spelling;
I click "post message."
