More proof of the "Sovietization" of politics by this (mal)Administration

That's right. "Guantánamo" is now a metaphor for being cut off completely from access and sources. I've had any number of reporters who have talked to me about how even the most minor criticism of the administration led to phone calls to their editors from senior officials in the government. I think that's a clear pattern of intimidation.

Funny, the Soviets used to nervously joke (because sometimes it wasn't a joke) about being shipped to Siberia or sent to Gulags. In the America I was raised in, that made them the BAD GUYS.

I want my country back!

This is why there really wasn't much difference in practice between the Leftist Tyrant, Stalin, and the Rightist Tyrant, Hitler.

I heard him say the same last night. I wish more people would pay attention to the Joseph Wilson story. Your "leaders" care more about winning an election than they care about American lives.

They want to control the media and all information. That is the Soviet style to a tee.

It's the same with EVERTHING they say, look at Karen Hughes. If you are pro-choice you don't value life, just like a terrorist.

As John Dean said, next thing you know they will be cutting out the faces of those that have trespassed against them (like Richard Clarke) as if they never existed.
