Never thought of it that way...but now it makes sense.

I've never believed in negativity. Negativity rots the soul, and warps our perception of reality/morality. Maybe we could have had a modicum of respect for Bush, if he could have dropped the drawers of deception and said to Iraq: "We want/need your OIL. Can we strike a deal benefiting all peoples?" And worked on the project from a diplomatic pov rather than taking the low road, bold face lying to the American people, and in the end creating a horrific excuse to exterminate an entire population for his precious oil.

Leaving us wondering, just WHY we should consider him and his ilk, the civilized ones?

I like hearing that segment. See, the interesting part is this guy tries to justify and offer apologetics for Rush's crap. If Franken had entertainer Rush himself on the show, he'd probably just say, "Yeah its bullshit I spin to make a million bucks each day, so there." But Franken's pet dittohead actually tries to identify with it. What a fool.
