Why did they change the name of W's campaign tour?
From the D-Bunker:

"Today, The Tour Was Renamed “Yes, America Can.” President Bush mysteriously changed the name of this week’s campaign tour from the “Winning the War on Terror” tour to “Yes, America Can.” Unfortunately for President Bush, media outlets reported the original name of his tour numerous times in the past week."

I read it in the paper this morning & was going to start a thread about it.

Yes, America Can WHAT?

It sounds almost like a children's book... or something you'd say about a toddler.

And it is so MEANINGLESS... and easily manipulated into Yes, America Can Give Junior the Heave-Ho.

Sorry - reminds me of a preschool story of the little bus that huffed and chugged up the hill, always rolling back down until it received a little pep talk and then it achieved its goal....always saying to itself "I think I can, I think I can"

Little pep talks will not help America right now. The little bus can chug along, but why would we continue to roll right over the abyss that is swiftly arising on the horizon....the little bus cannot fly after all......
