Iraqi Prisoner Photos: Sean Hannity asks "So in other words, this is...
not a big deal?"

OK, folks, Dennis Miller doesn't do transcripts, but Hannity DOES:

Allegations of Iraqi POW Abuse Under Investigation
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,118874,00.html

In quote #1, Hannity asks this thought-provoking question regarding WMD:

HANNITY: Let me ask you this. Would it be morally wrong to break Saddam himself? Would it be morally wrong if you captured somebody like Adolf Hitler? Would that be morally wrong to break these guys to find out in the case of Saddam, "Where are the weapons of mass destruction, sir? If you're not going to tell us, we will make you tell us."

And...as Steely Dan would say, Hannity and "Tony Robinson, former Army sergeant and a former interrogation instructor" are "outrageous" in their "coupe de grace"...(you won't frigging believe this one)...

ROBINSON: Well, one thing that needs to be understood, is that there's also an impact on the torturer. This is not a long-term job. Now, I use the word torture, but that's not what's happening in these pictures.

snip

ROBINSON: I've seen -- I've seen worse than this at -- frat hazing is worse than this.

HANNITY: So in other words, this is not a big deal? What should the punishment be if these guys in fact are found guilty of whatever is going on over there, whatever is going on?

In order to honor the rules here about how much we can cut and paste, I cut right to the chase with my quotes...but I suggest you read the full transcript. Between Dennis Miller and Hannity, Karl Rove has the whores working overtime.

You've heard it directly from Sean Hannity:

THIS IS NOT A BIG DEAL. Frat hazing is worse than this. GET OVER IT.

:puke:

1. His theme song "Let Freedom Ring" glorifies murder.
So I'm not surprised.

3. Why do you have a photo of Julius Streicher, his Nazi bride
and their Young SS Gaurd.

(actually, he'll probably be higher up in the Bushevik heirarchy, and will either get to command his own Block Battalion of the Nationalized Neigborhood Brownshirts)

Man, the poor little kid. Daddy will teach him well to be a Liar and a Nazi Monster.

22. Yeah. I hear Eichmann's wife was a babe, too.
Eva Braun was kind of cute.

Whatever she is, she is married to a Nazi Monster, Amerikan Julius Streicher.

www.us-israel.org/jsource/biography/Streicher.html

To me that makes her ugly inside and out.

Women, generally speaking (but NOT as a stereotypical rule) love POWER, MONEY, & ASSHOLES very much. That's just the way it is.

To quote Sylvia Plath: "Every woman loves a fascist...the boot in the face."

This is true for at least half the women out there, possibly more. More's the pity.

So it is not surprising that Hannity has a hot wife.

Which makes him nor her less mostrous for Hannity's Misdeeds (hew ould have made a terrific Nazi...fantastic)

23. Future Concentration Camp Guard
Perhaps he won't get his hands quite so dirty.

Makes me wonder though, Are the Children of Evil destined to be Evil? How are Jospeh Stalin's grandkids lately?

Maybe that kid will somehow become a Real Human Being instead of a Bushevik Monster. My guess is Hannity would beat the shit out of him for even voicing Real Human Thoughts and Feelings. Thus, it's Camp Guard for him (he'll be the envy of the Arizona Desert Compound) or other monstrous endeavor.

4. Sean Hannity is an ass!
1. Torture is not just physical torment. Mental and psychological torment is just as damaging.

2. To preach to the word about how Saddam, Hitler, and other outlaw counties and about how wrong it is for them to torture their citizens are wrong. But, to declares this to be "no big deal" is outrageous. Hannity needs to get down off of his high horse.

Top Twelve Right Wing Excuses For The Photos
This post might be more appropriate in this thread. Just to keep track of the various (often inconsistent) excuses:

1. Justification: The torture constitutes normal interrogation techniques, and this is a war;
2. Minimization: This is an isolated incident and the pictures were taken so that they could merely threaten future prisoners without having to engage in further torture.
3. Change-the-topic: Why is the liberal media attacking out military?!?!?! Where was the liberal media when so-and-so terrorists blew up bus/car/traffic sign?!?!?!
4. We-Are-Civilized-By-Comparison: These incidents pale in comparison to the torture and abuse that was perpetrated under Hussein/Hitler.
5. Ad Hominem: Why do you hate America?!?!?
6. Demonization: These soldiers are bad seeds who will be promptly punished.
7. Mismanagement: These soldiers did not mean any harm, but they were poorly trained and understaffed.
8. Denial: The photographs are fake/doctored!
9. Bureaucratic Vagueness: The torture was the result of mismanagement and lack of leadership.
10. Legalistic: The indicidents do not technically constitute "torture" because blah-blah-blah.
11. Moral outrage: This absolutely unacceptable and inconsistent with the principles of the U.S. military! Those responsible will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
12. What's the big deal?: Hey, hazing at the local fraternity is worse than this alleged "torture." Get over it!

Feel free to add more.

10. and major criminal kissinger added these remarks:
Edited on Tue May-04-04 02:47 PM by amen1234
-snips-

BLITZER: But let me interrupt, Dr. Kissinger. Let me interrupt, Dr. Kissinger, and say this: Everyone is saying, "shocked, shocked." They're totally shocked by this. But you know the nature of interrogation of prisoners, prisoners who were suspected of knowing information that could result in the deaths of American soldiers, to humiliate them to stop just short of formally torturing them. Hasn't that been going on in every war?

KISSINGER: I suspect that pressure has been put on prisoners possessing intelligence information in every war
, and I think what should also keep in mind who these people might have been.

-------------

KISSINGER: I must say another -- could I say one other thing?

BLITZER: Go ahead.

KISSINGER: I mean, this is occurring in a context in when -- in which. On Middle East television, their cutting the throat of American prisoners is being shown. So it is a terrible atmosphere.

It is not excusable, but some of the people who express such outrage in the region should look into their own souls to see what they have contributed to creating an atmosphere where this can happen.

14. That's pretty close to what Osama bin Laden said to Americans...
...after 9-11...I'm sure the quotes are all over the web, but there was a lot of "look to your leaders and the Crusader Bush" stuff as justification for killing 3000-plus innocent people.

This just keeps getting more sickening by the day, doesn't it?

Heard both of them on the radio today ridiculing the whole thing and saying how it's not so bad. It's disgusting and sick the way they act. Hannity must be a pill popper too to say this kind of crazy shit. This shit is worse than anything Anne Coulter has ever said.

These guys are talking about real events, with real pictures, with real human beings. Where the fuck is their compassion? They are fucking animals.

19. Very well put and
basically EVERYONE in Iraq that defies us is another Hitler or Saddam? How convenient, and what does that say about our hand over to Saddam's generals? Are we in league with the enemy? Or is the enemy only who WE say it is on any given day and then we change it to fit whatever we want to.

Also, love his justification for WMD, hey torture is worth it to get Dumbya four more years, huh, Sean, whatever it takes, right Buddy?
