Movie analogies to bush's presidency?

I can think of 2 good ones, and one that might be good if I knew the movie better... any other good'uns?

(1) Star Wars Attack of the Clones - where the evil emperor and his lackey Duko were talking about their plans being discovered by the Jedi - they come to the conclusion "ok - we've made our plans, let's get it on"...

(2) Gladiator - when the patricidal usurper took the reigns (lol), one of the first things he did was bring back the gladiator fights. the good-senator commented to the effect of "he will bring the masses death, and they will love him for it". part of the point of the remark is that the usurper specifically set out to coarsen his subjects, so that he could get away with more crap.

(3) (mebbe) Lord of the Flies - been so long since I've seen/read it, can't remember in detail - at the very least, the image of a buncha immature brats who can't do anything right seems apropos....

anybody got any others?

And it seemed so far-fetched at the time.

Because this entire administration has lost all concept with reality.

Rummy would be the good Dr.

Because there nothing good about this administration.

I feel in other scenes, Bush is more like the cowardly Sir Robin than the brave King Arthur.

Yeah I saw the title and just started typing. Bad habit.

The mob gets fired up after an attack and based on the words of their "leader" are willing to kill a bunch of innocents--without any effort to examine the evidence.

it's prolly too late now..... shoulda thought about it earlier.....

it would be nice if a lil explanation/commentary were given along with a movie name - not everyone has seen every movie that might bear a resemblance to the administration.

And even if one has seen the movie, one might not catch on to just how the lines are to be drawn between the movie and the administration....
