did the o'neill press conference happen?
he's the twit with the vets against kerry and swiftboats for truth or some kinda tripe like that.

did anybody show? i can't find any reference on google other than cybermax.

the press release yesterday said 'hundreds of former commanders and military colleagues of kerry' would be there to declare that he was unfit to be commander in chief.

2. I heard about the letter on several wing nut talk shows
This is an orchestrated event. All the wing nut talk show people have it for their topic of the day. The must have the Rove marching order fax. Scarborough said it will be on his show tonight. It is nothing but a repub campaign act. They should be reported to the FEC.

5. it was listed as an event at the national press club
but i guess the press saw it for what it was, which is a relief.

i agree with you about the FEC/campaign stunt.

thanks.

3. Eh
Boston Herald has the story, also WND, both writing from the same press release, sounds like. 18 vets there, little if anything new. Still waiting to see the infamous "list".

6. This stuff really pisses me
off! The RW prances out one guy to trash Kerry and all the RW media carries it. BUT....they can't find one person the vouch for * serving in Alabama. You know when it comes to Kerry 30 years ago its OK to bring these these things up.....but for * 30 years ago is "old" history and it can't be brought up! There,I feel better. Thanks.

9. THIS is the scoop on this O'Neill character, from Brock's site:
http://mediamatters.org/items/200405040004

Just read here (right side of the page). He is a creature created by Nixon as a foil to Kerry during his VAW days, and now "resurrected" by Shrubco for the same purpose. My understanding is that O'Neill's law firm is closely tied to Shrubco, too.

11. These people are proud of the Bush rape rooms and torture chambers.
They are the foulest filth politics has to offer. There is nothing American about them.
