early withdrawal
listening to another with wolf and not sure who it was cia maybe and saying how horrible what happened and this torture doesnt work, you get it from being nice and what happened was so bad, it might mean a withdrawal from iraq. the first time i have heard this on tv

at first i thought, this is good cause i am seeing this is what should be a withdrawal and htis is big enough to create it, then i went to

what a friggin gift for bush to have an excuse to cut and run and say it was those 6 soldiers fault

1. Ouch
didn't think about that angle.

Bush using the worsening conditions as a reason to cut and run and blame it on a few bad apples........

2. I don't think it would fly, really...
Think for a moment how that would make the decent troops feel? Bush would in essence be impugning them with the "stain" of a few bad apples. How would the whorish press spin backing a withdrawal after spinning the need to stay the course for the better part of a year?

I can see some verrrrrry pissed off soldiers coming back here feeling they were just pawns in some game should something like this occur.

This is a textbook "quagmire". God-damn it all to hell.

6. I don't think it would fly either...
Halliburton, et al haven't made enough money yet to allow Bush to get out of Dodge.

7. When Junior cuts and runs from Iraq he will also resign the presidency
After losing almost a thousand soldiers (many more wounded) and spending 200 billion dollars on this fiasco, if he hands it over to an ayatollah he is done. If he ran again he would only get 2 votes. His and Pickles. But he is leaving sooner than later. He just may not know it yet?

Don
