CONTRACTS


AIR FORCE



CPI Aerostructures, Edgewood N.Y., is being awarded a $214,891,316 firm fixed price contract to provide for a seven year spares contract for manufacture of 100 wing related components applicable to the C-5 aircraft. Includes wing tips, other panels, spoilers, leading edges, trailing edges, fairings and aircraft skins. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. At this time, $5,188,215 of the funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2012. Solicitation began September 2003. The Headquarters Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8524-04-D-0003).



TPA-CKY Venture, San Pedro, Calif., URS Group, Salt Lake City, Utah, American Integrated Services, Wilmington, Calif., Kleinfelder, Taylorsville, Utah, and CH2M Hill Constructors, Englewood, Colo., are being awarded a $20,700,000 indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity contract to provide for environmental design/ build. The primary task of this contract is to remediation waste sites on Hill Air Force Base and surrounding areas. Tasks include design/build and emergency remediation cleanup services. Place of performance is various locations. No funds have been obligated. Solicitation began July 2003. The Headquarters Odgen Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8201-04-D-0008-00012).



DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY



McDonnell Douglas, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $27,313,457 firm fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite quantity type of contract for aircraft parts for all U.S. military services. Performance completion date is expected to be May 4, 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of this fiscal year. There was one proposal solicitation and one responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va. (SP0400-01-D-9406).



Sysco Food Services of Seattle, Inc., Kent, Wash., is being awarded a $13,000,000 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type of contract for prime vendor full line food and beverage support to the U.S. military forces, federal civilian agencies, National Guard, Coast Guard and the Job Corps. Performance completion date is expected to be May 1, 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of this fiscal year. There were 12 proposal solicitations and three responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-02-R-4030).


ARMY


Pierce Manufacturing Inc., Appleton, Wis., was awarded on April 30, 2004, a $21,705,343 firm-fixed-price contract for 31 tactical firefighting trucks on a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck chassis. Work will be performed in Appleton, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 20, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0457).



NAVY



Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded an $18,167,134 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of one E-2T Hawkeye 2000 tactics trainer for the government of Taiwan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Sterling, Va. (85 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (10 percent); and Taipei, Taiwan (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0058).



United Defense, LP Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded an $11,730,884 firm-fixed-price contract for the Virginia Class Fixed propulsor assembly and propulsor rotor tailcone, including repair/rework of government furnished material. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn. (70 percent); York, Pa. (19 percent); Groton, Conn. (11 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-04-C-4156).



ITT Industries Inc., Systems Division, PMRF Barking Sands Project, Kekaha, Hawaii, is being awarded a $9,223,532 cost plus incentive award fee and fixed-price incentive award fee contract modification under previously awarded contract (N00604-98-C-0031) for base operation services and range operation services support for Pacific Missile Range Facility. This contract includes options that, if exercised, would bring the total estimated cumulative value of the contract to $377,487,235. The amount of current funds being obligated for FY 04 is $1,031,666. Work will be performed in Barking Sands, Kekaha, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, with 83 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
