have NO CLUE what the Constitution TRULY stands for, or have ANY
respect for the rule of law.

On a related note, I am a fireworks nut, but I refuse to go to "community" fireworks displays because I know that they'll play that stupid song!!

10. Recently, yes, I'm VERY proud to be an American.
I am probably the most unpatriotic guy around, but at the county Democratic Convention, where I was a delegate, I saw lots of folks who were there to take back the power!

Whooooeeeeeee! as Howard Dean said, rightly, I might add.

to be an American. I proud to be a veteran. I'm proud to be a union member. Even though I cannot control what any of these groups do. I'm still optimistic. I'll do what i can. Please do what you can to help.O8)

15. I don't know if I'd say "proud". I was born here, hence I am American.
I didn't do anything to be here, I didn't immigate, didn't have to pass any sort of citizenship test or anything. Because I happened to be born to two people who lived in America, I ended up American.

16. I am proud, but *MAN* do I hate that song (warning: wild tangent)
When I was in the service (80s) they played that Lee Greenwood song at some function like every other day. I never got so sick of a song in my life (and yes, I'm including "It's a Small World").

Couldn't they just play "God Bless America" ?!?!?! That's a fine tune! Or "America the Beautiful."

So many great songs, and they pull that chickenhawk's song out every chance they get.
