Kudos to CBS...Veterans against Kerry story

I just saw this on the evening news. The vets against Kerry were shown and then bashed for attacking all * opponents who served in Viet Nam. Thanks CBS.

John O’Neill, who spoke first, debated Kerry about Vietnam on the "Dick Cavett Show" in 1971. Back then he was handpicked by the Nixon administration to discredit Kerry.

"John Kerry is not fit to be commander in chief," O'Neill said.

These are some of the same Republicans linked to attacks on Sen. John McCain's Vietnam war record when he faced President Bush for the Republican nomination in the 2000 campaign.

The vets against Kerry are led by Ted Sampley, a die-hard POW/MIA nut. He led a pitiful bunch of Freeper nuts against our March 20 demo at Ft. Bragg.

Make no mistake Rove is behind this clumsy attempt to smear Kerry. They must have counted on a lazy and complient media not to check the backgrounds and histories of the "swift boat commanders". Thank god they did.

I sat in front of the TV cheering. They tore the whole thing apart and then showed Max Clelland as a lagniappe. It felt so good to cheer for something in the media for a change.
