The Bus Trip in perspective....
George Jr does not ride on a bus, as a general rule. So why is he riding thru Ohio on a bus now? Nevermind that the bus was made in Canada and in French Quebec, nonetheless. Certainly a bus trip is not something Mr Bush would prefer to do.

But, Mr Rove has persuaded Mr Bush that it is for his own good. If he wants to win the next election, he must do some things that he may not enjoy. The recent polls have not been friendly to Mr Bush. He has been told that he needs to reconnect with the people. Ergo, a magical mystery tour...

6. It was noticable all up and down I-75 N and S between Dayton and Toledo
A big RV dealership that is right next to the highway had on there big ad sign that lights up a flag waving and a message that said welcome to Piqua, Ohio President Bush!!

another church close to Troy Ohio had a similar sign.

Too bad Bush couldnt/didn't want to, see them. Once AWOL, always AWOL.

if anyone wants to see pictures of the Dayton protest, check out the pictures I took here:

2. That would be Magical Misery Tour, no?
Yeah, they gotta do a bus trip to make him seem more accessible -- even though the events are by invite only (if what I've heard is true).

4. From yesterday's Mpls Star/Tribune:
Bush will not actually motor to Ohio today. He will take Air Force One from Detroit to Toledo and then to Dayton, where he will board the "Yes, America Can" special for stops in Lebanon and Cincinnati, for a total of a little more than one hour aboard the bus.

and:

Bush pointed out that the economy is showing signs of growth nationwide, "but lags in Michigan, I understand that." He added: "I understand that Michigan still suffers." Michigan has lost 223,900 jobs since Bush took office in January 2001, and the unemployment rate has climbed from 4.6 percent to 6.9 percent. In Ohio, where he campaigns today, 222,600 jobs have been lost and the unemployment rate has risen from 3.9 percent to 5.7 percent.
Bush focused on the positive, saying 5,900 jobs were created in Michigan last month. He pointed to recent economic statistics that suggest the economy is recovering. Note cards in hand, Bush called on prescreened audience members who gave upbeat assessments of the economy.

5. The bus is an empty shell
Sort of like his head. He is not on the bus. He is flying from point to point and then rides the bus to the final destination. Like every thing about this man it is a scam.
