You say you want all these things for the people of Iraq, but look at your country and the mess you've made of it. Why should we believe you will do a better job in Iraq than you've done for America?

21. I had a co-worker who talked like that ...
"What you have to understand", and "I need you to know this" -- it drove the rest of us MAD! He came across as so condescending ... when he practically bit the head off an associate who tried to tell him nicely that it might not be the best way of saying things, I suspected that he really was arrogant, and it wasn't just a manner of speaking.
