Or are we bleeding money a little faster than PNAC thought we would? Considering how FUBAR everything else has become, this wouldn't surprise me.

4. This "War on Terra" is nothing more than a 'cash cow' for the Military
Industiral Complex. It is wreaking havoc on the world and destroying the moral fiber (or what is left of it) of America.

5. I can't wait to see who votes for THIS!
Wonder what it's supposed to be for? The Pubs are already upset about the deficit. Will they vote for it? What about the Dems? And Kerry in particular!

My position is the same as it was for the $87 billion. What are you going to spend it on....specificaly? This time I would add, what DID you spend the $87 billion on?

6. I was hoping for this...
But still, I'll be pleasantly surprised if this lowers W's approval rating among the average "Bush-can-do-no-wrong-as-long-as-a-737-doesn't-slam-into-my-house" automatons.

7. I keep thinking of the woman who was inthe pharmacy
Edited on Wed May-05-04 01:57 PM by Marianne
waiting for the pharmacist to fill her husband's prescriptions.

When she was ready to pay, she found that the cost of the prescription was $900.00. She broke down there and began to sob, and was totally wiped out with her situation.

and billions go every month to finance an illegal war waged by a liar.

and we see Halliburton making the biggest profit ever, as well as it's subsidiaries. We have a despicable, evil coward of a man, putting the rich where they will and can only get richer, with CEO's making as much as thirty million dollars a year in salary--and we have elders totally strapped when it comes to their health care.

and billions go every month to finance an illegal war waged by a liar.

Our schools are miserable institutions, and the children graduating know hardly a thing. The lower or the middle class, cannot afford a college education-and if they do, under a Bush, they cannot find a decent job-either both their parents work their butts off to save for that education, forfitting their own retirement years for their children, or the kids go into the military--and get maimed in order that the rich, once again, get richer.

and billions go every month to finance an illegal war waged by a liar.

Health care is unavailable to many of our citizens--this is not some backward country here--this is the richest country in the world -- we should be number one, in everything. Instead, our greed, our insatiable desire for goods that we do not need, our frantic striving to make it to the upper classes where we may think that finally our worth will be defined for us.

We are , it could be said, flabby, flatulent, fobs who seem to have lost something of soul along the way during the past fifty years, and most especially in the past three years under a fascist like, unintelligent, liar whose only talent is that he can make jokes over the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

8. Where the heck do they think the $ is going to come from?
Edited on Wed May-05-04 01:56 PM by GreenPartyVoter
Oh wait, let me guess. We're going to completely scrap Head Start or the EPA or something "non-vital".
