The whereabouts of the studio doesn't matter. Randi can do the show from anywhere there is a ISDN line. I know you have listened for awhile. I think Randi is off her peak. I think she is the flagship at AAR and I want her to be at her best. I just think that she is not happy in NYC.

I can go back to Sean Hannity then. Geez

Maybe New Yorkers have more radio choices, but in my town, having Air America, ESPECIALLY Randi, has loewred my blood pressure and extended my life.

As far as her interrupting callers, HELLO? Ever heard any right-wingers do that? If the caller isn't making sense, a host SHOULD interrupt, or it becomes Snore Radio.

Anyone with some balls who says it as it is should go. Get some whimp and we should be happy...

We are happy that she is home - where Alan Colmes passed for the last "liberal" voice on the radio (and then they bought off his radio station and he disappeared too)

I back you catwoman. What's the best way to shoot down idiocy? Shoot early and often. As soon as that guy pulled "Dean is a winner" out she was definitely in shutting him up. I would have hung up on him, but that's where Randi and I differ.

honestly her show is too much of a carbon copy of right wing hate radio for me, but it annoys the hell out of me when someone calls in with a good point and they can't even get it out of their mouth before she starts interrupting and yelling...

That guy just wanted to rant. She asked him to be quiet several times and let her show him that he was wrong on some accounts. He just kept ranting on and on not letting her defend her position.

First off, I'm not a traditional radio listener, so I don't know from Rush, Hannity and even Howard Stern. I've begun listening to AAR via stream, so I catch Randi a couple of times a week.

She has only one bad trait, and that's cutting off callers and talking over them. That may be her style, but I find it annoying. There's an easy way to handle it: simply tell each caller, "you're on...30 seconds." Yep, give 'em 30 secs to make their point and that's it. If they're intelligent and have a point, let them talk more. If they're freepers, 86 'em.

I've heard Randi give some callers plenty of time. But she does have a short fuse on certain topics and with certain types of callers. She could handle it more fluidly.

On the other hand, such considerations might reign her in and water down her fire. In that case, I'll just take her *as is* and thank Thor for large favors.

I like Ms. Randi when she is speaking as she is right now. It's great to have such a strong voice that I can actually receive (Althought still not in my car where I am a lot.)However, I really HATE her "style" when talking on the phone. Al does a much better job of hearing people out, not SCREAMING and just getting a dialogue going. Whatever, I LOVE Air America. I just have to go to another room when that screaming at callers starts.
