21. Yeah, he's a fake Texan but...
I think the macho Texas crapped rubbed off on him when he was in Midland. I know people out there and you just know that's what its like.

4. Incapable because he feels no empathy for others.
Physically incapable of saying, "I'm sorry."

5. Arab interviews were a sham!
1) Al Hurra is owned by the US.
2) Al Arabiya is owned by Saudi government.
3) Questions and answers were written by the White House.
4) King George is never wrong and need never apologize!

6. I have news for the Iraqis
Don't feel bad Middle East, he treats Americans the same way.

How often have you heard him say. "Americans have got to understand....", :Democrats need to understand".......

To many Americans, these phrases are insistent, overbearing, even autocratic, coming from the man who is currently occupying their Presidency.

7. Of course he didn't

That would mean he a.)would have to admit to a mistake and b.)have to take responsibility. I think the only way he would ever do that would be if he were "frog-marched" out of the WH in handcuffs, tried and convicted. Then there would be something in it for him to apologize.

Besides, everyone knows Clinton's penis is responsible for the torture anyway.

12. Well, he didn't appear sincere and certainly not compassionate
He sounded very defensive and very preachy. Not quite the right tone.

10. McClellan apologizes *for* Bush
That should be enough. :) Why can't this guy admit to ANY mistake and/or apologize for ANYTHING?

It's like he's Fonzy struggling to say "I love you."

And, regardless of what the WH thinks, all that matters is whether the Middle East heard the words.. and they did not.

13. whipping boys

A royal tradition. When spoiled little princes acted up in days of old, they couldn't be spanked for their misbehavior, hence the "whipping boy" that took the punishment for them.

It is truly amazing to just sit and observe how much royal treatment this asshat actually gets.

18. LOL

I picked that up a while back from some guys on a musicians forum,it just kind of stuck with me. "Assclown" was real popular there too.

I wonder which "whipping boy" is going to take the beating for this thing and how severe it is going to be.

19. Come on George, it's not that hard!
It's only a two word phrase. Just say it.

"I'm...........sorry."

There, that wasn't so bad, was it?

20. That article is a misnomer
There is no "why" to be found in the article. It's just a littany of excuses. Important to be sure, but falling short of the title.
