4. Exposing the corruption
For everyone to see. Pretty soon the cognitive dissonance is going to get overwhelming, and everyone will have to wake up.

I think we're almost there. I hope.

Welcome, soundfury!

8. He gets some credit for the "Do Not Call" list. . .
Don't know how much, but it happened on his watch, so I'll give him all the credit, and it seems like it's been a good thing. Hasn't stopped all solicitor calls but it seems there's been a reduction.

9. The Stalinization of the media that should be condemning him.
Instead, they just continue to rollover, smudge and contradict their facts in order to praise and support this administration. There is no such thing as liberal media. It’s all about corporate profit.

And today we hear about the Michael Moore/Disney dispute. Once again, a corporation like Disney in this case seems to be driven by the potential loss of tax credits in Florida if this unflattering portrayal of * is released under their corporate umbrella. At least that story has received some notice although it’s mostly from their competition.

Speaking of… has anybody seen “Strip Search?” This is an HBO Film that premiered in April without any fanfare or publicity on a Tuesday. Bottom line, the film questions the loss of first amendment rights. And now the bold and brazen HBO that will literally show you an asshole lip-synching a song on a Saturday night after a featured premiere movie, now buries their own signature programming that questions our loss of civil rights. You can’t even see it “on-demand.” It might be really bad. I don't know. I missed it and can't seem to catch it again. I’m guessing Time Warner (AOL, CNN, Time, HBO) might have some tax breaks to consider as well.

Now that is a great accomplishment. It sucks right along with his other evil misdeeds, but he did manage to neuter the mainstream media.

10. The Mars mission.
I know we don't have the money for it and some people say that it's to put weapons in space or something, but going to Mars is cool!

I am totally serious.

11. Identifying steroids in athletics as a pressing national problem.
Without giving it a significant mention in this year's SOTU address, I would never have known....or cared.
