Abercrombie pointed out it is the grunts who are taking the heat for the abuses, when it's the higher ups who bear reponsibility. Also said "Dereliction of duty". (referring to Bush, and $$$)

Inslee said it's a threat to democracy itself. Called for "accountability" and those responsible "should be removed".

Strickland said their "understanding is so immature" they live "in a fantasy world.... who is paying the price.... our troops and their families".

All four of these men were saying very strong stuff. This is what we've been waiting for!

NOW, it's up to us.... do we give them the support, or do we just shrug and let it go?

Call and write all four of these men, thank them for their strong words, and start urging impeachement.

finally--some Dems in Congress have the balls to speak up about this!!

Ohio, Washington, Massachusettes and Hawaii should be proud of their representatives.

Seriously, write/call all four, pleeeez! I can guarantee you they will be getting lots of hateful mail. We need to counteract that, and let them know their efforts are appreciated!

It only takes a few minutes...... just a short note, short call.... It really does help.

So, please. Let's remember to keep encouraging them.

He spoke at our district caucus last Saturday, and "fired up" doesn't even begin to describe his comments. He was ROARING to a capacity crowd about Iraq, about our fighting men and women, about torture and the "disgrace" * has brought on us all.

I'm sure that there are people here who don't think he's all that and a bag of chips. I like him because everytime I've been anywhere he's appearing, he answers my questions -- and I've gone out of my way to ask him some tough questions. I'm not even in his damn district, and he answers my questions!

He mentioned that he and some other Reps were on "after hours" on Monday and Tuesday nights on C-SPAN. As he says, "Stop by. We have a good time!" I hope I'll catch another one of his speeches soon.
