After 63 days, 10,024.7 miles, 18 states, Mexico, a new puppy (many thanks, Beevul), and more souvenirs than anyone should be allowed to collect; I'm finally home.
I got halfway across Missouri on the first day out - that was after leaving Kentucky and crossing southern Indiana and southern Illinois - when I discovered that I'd left my laptop at home. Therefore, no DU for the whole time except for a quick check of the boards at my sister-in-law's house.
Apologies to slackmaster and columbia for not getting to soCal long enough to meet up. For those of you who haven't met her, nothingshocksmeanymore is a trip. HI, T!
The best part of the trip was meeting Beevul and getting Missy (a wonderful puppy) from him. She's a heartbreaker, Beevul. She's up to 5 lbs., 8 oz. and loves to ride anywhere in a car - or minivan in this case. She's already taken over the house in less than 12 hours.
I've rambled enough. It's good to be home for a while.
