California's Debt
Has Schwarzwnegger been able to reduce any of California's debt? Do people still like him as their governor?

1. No! He has done nothing on the defecit. He's too busy taking vacations,
two of them to Hawaii since he's been in office 7mos!!!! Currently he's wrapping up a visit to Israel, Jordan and a stopover to "pump up" some of the US troops in Germany. I guess he forgot CA is not in the Middle East or Europe. He did something today that TOTALLY BETRAYED OUR BEAUTIFUL STATE AND IS UNFORGIVABLE!!! He made a deal w/ the electric Co's from Texas, Oregon, Washington, etc., who criminally ripped our state off during the "so called" power crises a couple of yrs ago. Remember the blackouts in San Fran? Anyway, Enron was another one who ripped CA off all to the combined total of $9billion, which is part of CA's debt. (Sorry I don't have a link for the story.) The gropenator agreed to let all these co's pay like 9 cents on the dollar of the 9bil as a settlement and in turn the state would not sue the co's. Fucking unbelievable!!! This is exactly what everybody said he would do when he was running for gov. Fmr Gov Gray Davis and Lt. Gov. Bustamante had already brought forth litigation and had STRONG evidence that the electric co's were lying when the said there was a shortage of power and had they obvious evidence of price gouging. The state's suit was moving forward. So if Davis fought off recall or Bustamante won the recall the electric co's were going to be screwed! But the Terminator to the rescue!!!! He saves the day for Shrubs boys at Enron and all the other scumbag electric co's that tried to fuck CA. DISGUSTING! I felt sick today and every Californian should too! Our state was betrayed to protect the corporate crooks who ripped us off!! And our state was betrayed by own governor!! UNFORGIVABLE!! We Californians will not forget what this actor playing governor has done to our state. Remember Mr. Gropenator, 2006 is not far off!

2. One other thing, he is still primarily liked by the people. Of course it
doesn't hurt that he gets movie star treatment from the press!

3. Herr Gropenator also ruined the California quarter...
John Muir now dwarfs Yosemite's Half Dome.

The original design was better IMO.

Can't find a pic.

4. he's bush's boy
but i think the people like him.
as the first poster pointed put -- he's done nothing for the debt except to make it worse and let bush's energy cronies off the hook.
he isn't treated like a hovernor in the press but like a movie star -- and he's democrats wnating to ride on his coat tails.
all i can say is -- blech.
