Rush Limbaugh's Rough Day.
First of all, whoever was the caller at about 1:45 eastern time nailed HeadRush's ass right to the wall. If you are a DUer, my hat's off to you, buddy.

The short of it was, Limbaugh asked this guy to name just one way Bush was incapable of leading the War on Terror. To which the guy said, "okay, here's one: 'Bring it on.' Bush is sitting in a limousine egging on the enemy." Limbaugh tried to claim that we didn't start the war in Iraq, that 9/11 started it. To which the caller said, "Actually Bush said there is no connection between Iraq and al Qaeda" (a verbatim recollection of Randi Rhodes' audio clip).

To that, Limbaugh called the caller a liar and said that Bush never made such an admission.

Later, Limbaugh went on a diatribe about John Kerry saying that Bush should apologize for the Iraq prisoner abuse. Limbaugh said something to the effect of, "this just proves what a weak military leader Kerry would be." And less than an hour later Bush apologized!

It was so freaking sweet.

to prove that idiot correct on anything anymore. I can no longer listen to him for even 30 seconds because he is clueless.

2. Heh heh heh heh
This guy may end up going down with the ship.

This is the biggest thing to happen so far. How odd, considering all the other sh*t that's gone on over the past 3.5 years, that this would be the thing that implodes the entire administration and its cronies.

The chimps base is going to be pretty angry.
As we can recall from Clinton, conservatives DO NOT like apologists. The chimp is no John Kennedy (Bay of Pigs) and this apology will make his poll numbers soar further down the toilet.

6. Some WH reporter asked about Rushbo's insane comments
Scottie had to dismiss the comment, of course, because Rushbo's comment was such an embarrassment to the Bush administration. Scottie slithered off the podium shortly thereafter.

10. Don't Forget That He Allowed A Caller To Blame Gays And Clinton...
for the torture scandal with out refuting him. Since he did not refute the caller he must believe the callers supposition to be correct. And since Clear Channel syndicates the show and will take no corrective action, they endorse that belief as well. That caller was awesome though.

18. How exactly did the caller blame Clinton?
OMG, don't tell me that the caller said this is a "don't ask, don't tell" deal!

I think what we're seeing now is the core of Bush supporters coming out, because the moderates are jumping ship. Things are going to get ugly, but The Lame Duck President's numbers will be dropping to 38% soon enough.

29. Here Is A Paraphrase.
You can blame Clinton for letting all the "deviants" into the military. The word homosexual replaced the word deviant for the remainder of the call. It was disgusting.

The President is a decent and honorable man.
Unfortunately, Rush doesn't get it.......and get ready for Sean to spend much time bashing the President as well.

Two flawed men criticizing the leader of the free world.

Pity!

16. More on SuperCaller.
The caller also brilliantly outlined the fact that none of the Iraq hawks (Limbaugh included) have ever served a day in the military, and thus they have no idea what they are asking our troops to do. He really had Limbaugh mumbling and stumbling until finally Limbaugh had to pull his famous "dump the call and pretend the caller hung up" routine.

I'm really surprised this caller got through the screener. It was fantastic.

I am so disappointed in Bush for sinking to this level.
He should send a couple of nukes instead.
