Do You Think Saddam Did the Torturing Himself?
He probably didn’t, he probably just ordered it done. He was back in the Whit… (sorry) palace as the victims were being stripped naked, or made to stand on a box for hours, days…. Yet, we say, “Saddam tortured.” I guess the question would be why isn’t it appropriate using that logic to say, “Bush tortured.?”

One of those semantic things I suppose.

1. exactly.
bush and co have known about torture going on since afghanistan.
bush needs to go on trial for crimes against humanity.
maybe a joint trial with saddam, his soul brother.

2. Bush did torture them. So did I and every other American.
This WAS a democracy--our leaders represented us. At least Saddam didn't "represent" his people.

Bush tortured those people as surely as Hussein and Hitler.

The pResident may feel no need to take responsibility or apologize, but I sure as hell do.

Bush wasn't elected. The election was rigged Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris who purged thousands of legal voters in Florida.

It isn't the fault of the general population if crooks engage in election fraud.

4. Unfortunately for Saddam, he didn't have a corporate media and
PR staff who could market him as a compassionate conservative.

7. There is a culture of violence permeating this country
that emanates from the White House. Think of numbnuts' cavalier attitude to Texas executions.
