Poll question: What entertainment driven talk would you most like to see Kerry appear on?
Edited on Thu May-06-04 06:38 PM by Bombtrack
And by entertainment I mean not news/politics driven. Which excludes the cable news shows and The Daily Show. So mostly sort of celebrity driven shows. I know the Daily Show would win in a heartbeat if it was an option also. If someone has a popular suggestion I'll edit the poll to add it since I can only think of a half dozen or so options.

I personally think that while Kerry shouldn't go in studio that he should call into Howard Stern to thank him for his support. There are far fewer people who would be turned off enough by that than there are Howard Stern listeners who believe Kerry and the democratic party owes Howard that much of thanks for there votes AND money. I count calling in as appearing on. It would be bad for him to be in studio only because everyone seeing him on that couch on the E! show are just going to think it very unpresidential whether they've seen the show or just stay tuned for the next half hour where it's about 75 percent likely a retard a midget or a half dressed/blurred out woman are in the same place.

I also exclude syndicated daytime shows like Oprah, Ellen, Dr. Phil etc.

He's already appeared on both Leno and the View, 2 truely awful hellish shows and hosts in my opinion.

1. I'm voting for the Daily Show anyway, damnit!

They do enough fluff push-the-celebraties-movie-of-the-week stuff to qualify in my opinion. So there. Nyahh!

2. Yep, Daily Show
You might as well rename "Other" already and get it over with. :)

3. What is so hard about votiing on things I ask to vote on
I just ask people to not consider TDS and pick among the criteria I outline.

4. Because the Daily Show rules...
and it has more political people on it than the other options combined. Ok, maybe a bit of an overstatement, but still...

8. You shouldn't have an "other" category
if you want people to vote on things that you ask them to vote for.

7. SNL isn't a talk show. And the Daily Show is news/politics driven
which I specifically asked to not consider. It's like I'm dealing with babies here

Tom Arnold would give Kerry a lot of support if he goes on the Best Damned Sports Show.

12. Oprah
and other lighter shows. I read some article recently that suggested this and it sounded pretty reasonable. Kerry should go on these types of shows to "personalize" himself.
