This is NOT news!!!!
This makes me sick.

I don't know what the general concensus around here is on this issue because I've been out of the loop today BUT this makes my skin crawl.

Why the fuck does this merit a story? Does get this the "base" fired up?

I can't believe the stupidity/smearing of the media.

Thanks.

1. As sombody in an earlier thread explained....
...sort of pre-emptive damage control...get it out in the open now, before D---- or somebody makes a big deal about it in October...by next week, it's old news.

2. what if she isnt ashamed
what if it is a story telling about a woman wanting a baby and then fearful of the damage caused and the emotion of having to decide something so huge

why is it grose or bad. it is life and experience

i had to decide having gotten preg old if i was going to have a test to see if child had downs which significantly goes up the older a woman is. i decided i wouldnt get an abortion regardless so i didnt need the test. but i did think about it to get to the point

3. My mother feels the same way
She has always told me that she couldn't bring a child that she knew was going to come into the world with down syndrom. It would hurt to know that the child would live a very difficult life and the emotional trauma that would come from it.

4. You never know. It could be a move by the JK campaign to get
the abortion issue out there because:

1) Teresa was advised to have the abortion for health reasons

2) She was a Republican at the time, and

3) If we want to talk about abortions that took place, oh, 20 to 35 years ago, then let's talk about bush paying for an abortion back when it was illegal.
