The Wench!!!! Teresa Heinz Kerry Nearly Had Abortion
That does it!!!!!!

No WAY!!!

No FUCKING way will I vote for Kerry after hearing about THIS bombshell!!!

WASHINGTON - Teresa Heinz Kerry nearly underwent an abortion some 30 years ago on a doctor's recommendation because she had been taking cortisone early in her pregnancy, but a miscarriage rendered the decision moot.

Would have saved the world so much needless hell.

7. I read that...I am glad we have a choice
What would have happened if she wouldn't have miscarried? Carry a baby to term that wouldn't be able to survive or would have been seriously disabled?

I am glad that she came forward with that. There are very view circumstances I would have an abortion. This is one. I am 40 and I'll probably not live long enough to adequately care for a severely disabled human being. What is the alternative? Are any of those anti-abortion idiots going to step forward and take care of them?

20. No they won't
My son has autism. When he was small things were very, very difficult. We lived in Naperville Illinois...right wing conservative bastion of the Chicago area. At a grocery store I was informed by a woman in her finest designer garb that I should not take a child like that out in public. This was not 30 years ago - more like 7.

We are fortunate - he's doing ok now but it was hell for a long time.
We make his quality of life very good but after we're gone? I worry.

21. I am sorry to hear that some people are such a**holes
There are a lot of studies right now studying autism. I can't imagine how it is. And the support you get from the Government, school, or the public is minimal.

There are some very expensive schools dealing with autism and giving those kids intense attention, trying to re-train part of the brain. But...nobody is paying for this. If you are not rich, you are just sh*t out of luck.

I wish you and your son the very best. I hope time will change and more attention will be paid to autism and the well-being of all kids. But this will not happen with a Republican leader.

8. Back in the 60s, before Roe vs Wade
a pregnant woman, a Romper Room hostess in Arizona named Sherri Finkbine discovered that the sleeping pills she'd been using contained Thalidomide and that there was a good chance her baby would be deformed. She was denied a legal abortion and finally went to Sweden. The fetus was indeed deformed. This was a huge case back then and so unfair.

Some info on the case:

12. Apparently one of the serious birth defects of "cortisone babies"
can be extremely severe cleft palates, basically a split from the mouth through the forehead along with other cranial malformation?

And there are others.

The fetus was black. Why aren't they reporting this? The nurses who were present were interviewed on MSNBC tonight and remembers the abortion clearly because of the money they were offered to sign false papers.

14. I Fail to See the Problem. It Was a Medical Recommendation and Decision
(Pls forgive the re-posting.)

Besides that, it never happened.

Besides that, we are pro-CHOICE, NOT pro-ABORTION.

Besides that, she was a Republican back then, no?
